Residential Treatment

Home Base operates the Upshur County and Lewis County group homes.  Each home is a level II treatment facility and serves no more than five children at a time.

The small number of residents allows for the highest staff-to-client ratio in the state, thereby ensuring that each child’s treatment plan is highly individualized.

This combination of elements has resulted in one of the highest success rates for reducing recidivism in the state.  Eighty percent of children who complete our program return home, remain in their homes and do not require additional residential treatment.
